Protein Balls - 4 Flavours 

Regular snacking helps to regulate blood sugar, keep energy levels high and maintain a healthy metabolism. Snacking on whole foods like seeds, nuts, fruits and low-fat dairy is a good way to ensure you stay healthy! 

These easy-to-make, nutritious protein balls are good to have on hand as they are filling and lack the preservatives and artificial, highly-processed ingredients that many other store-bought snacks have in them.

Simply mix four different coatings to create different flavours and textures!

Ingredients

Protein Balls - Base

20       

Pitted Dates

1/4 cup
 

Wellshine Wellson    Skim Milk Powder

Cocoa - Flavour 

2 cups

Almonds

1/4 cup

Cocoa powder, unsweetened

2 tsp

Cinnamon

1 tsp

Orange, rind

Matcha - Flavour

2 cups

1/4 cup

2 tsp

Pistachios

Coconut, desiccated 

Matcha powder

Coconut - Flavour

2 cups

Mixed nuts

1/4 cup

Coconut, desiccated 

2 tsp

Peanut butter

Turmeric - Flavour

2 cups

1/4 cup

2 tsp

1 tsp

Cashew nuts

Chia seeds

Turmeric powder

Lemon, rind

Instructions
  1. Soak the dates for 30 minutes and drain
     

  2. Chop or crush nuts in a blender
     

  3. Place all the ingredients for the flavour you wish to make in a big bowl
     

  4. Mix well with a handmixer or spoon until combined
     

  5. Roll a little ball in your hands and coat 
     

  6. Refrigerate for 20 minutes 
     

  7. Pack in small containers for them to stay fresh
